Iran offers Russia ways to confront US sanctions

The Deputy Head of the Central Bank of Iran for International Affairs, Mohsen Karimi, stated that the Iranian authorities offered Russia measures to counter US sanctions and cooperate in the current environment.

He said that “Iran, based on its rich experience in being subjected to sanctions over the past years, has taken the necessary measures to get out of the influence of American hegemony and hostile countries that he proposed to the Russian side.”

Earlier, Karimi said that Tehran would conduct trade operations with Moscow in the national currencies of the two countries – and according to him, there are already agreements concluded with the Russian side.
