Norway resumes issuing tourist visas to Russians

The Norwegian Embassy in Moscow expects to resume accepting applications from Russians for tourist visas in May.

According to the diplomatic mission website. From April 4, applications for all types of residence permits and Schengen visas are resumed.

It will be possible to submit documents at VFS visa centers in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and a number of other Russian cities.

Earlier, it became known that France lifted epidemic-related restrictions for Russian citizens to obtain tourist visas from April 1. Russians will be able to apply to the embassy for visas without any restrictions due to the coronavirus.

Before that, the head of Rostourism, Zarina Dogozova, stated that the Egyptian authorities had temporarily abolished the fines imposed on Russian tourists for delaying the period of visa-free stay in the country.
