NATO plans expansion in Asia in response to China’s refusal to condemn the Russian operation

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference in Brussels that the alliance’s foreign ministers will discuss a new strategic concept on April 6-7, which will include China for the first time.

The Secretary-General added that due to China’s refusal to condemn the Russian special operation in Ukraine, NATO plans to expand cooperation with partners from Asia.

As part of the same conference, Stoltenberg said coalition allies are committed to providing more assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of anti-tank weapons, air defense systems and other equipment.
