Texas governor decides to send illegal immigrants to Washington

Texas Governor Greg Abbott will bus illegal immigrants to Washington, in protest against possible loosening of entry rules into the United States.

And he said: “We send them illegal immigrants. – To the United States Capitol, where the Biden administration will be able to respond more quickly to the needs of the people who allow them to cross our borders,” noting that for these purposes there will be dedicated buses.

It is known that at the end of May, the US presidential administration plans to cancel the instructions allowing to prevent immigrants from entering due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, after the press conference, Abbott’s office released details of his plan, which included softer language, according to the Texas Tribune. It was made clear that immigrants would only be sent to the capital after they had been screened by the Department of Homeland Security and with their consent.

Earlier, former US President Donald Trump said in Texas that the current administration should first protect the United States from immigrants, and then think about Ukraine.
