3 penalties did not save Levante from defeat against Barcelona

Barcelona defeated Levante 3-2 away from home in the 31st round match of the Spanish Championship.

At the beginning of the second half of the match, Levante opened the scoring after a penalty kick by Jose Morales. After a few minutes, the hosts were able to double their lead.

Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang equalized the result after Ousmane Dembele’s pass from the right, and four minutes later Pedri put the Catalans in the lead. At the end of the match, Levante players were awarded a third penalty kick – they could not take advantage of it.

Barcelona is second in the Spanish League after 30 games with 60 points. “Levante” with 22 points is on the penultimate, 19th place in the table. Real Madrid leads the league with 72.
