Liverpool into the Champions League semi-finals
Liverpool and Benfica played a combative tie in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.
The match, which was held in England, ended with a score of 3: 3.
The scoring was opened by Liverpool player Ibrahim Konate, and after 11 minutes Benfica equalized the result thanks to Goncal Ramos. In the second half, Roberto Firmino scored two goals, and scored in the 55th and 65th minutes, and the Portuguese club grabbed the tie thanks to goals by Roman Yarmacuk and Nunez.
In the first match, the English club turned out to be stronger, and the wings of Jurgen Klopp won with a score of 3: 1. This result allowed Liverpool to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League on aggregate – 6: 4.
