Turkish opposition accuses Erdogan of launching war in Syria

The head of Turkey’s opposition Welfare Party, Temel Karamullahoglu, said the party led by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has unleashed a war in Syria.

“Unfortunately, Turkey has taken the first steps to confuse Syria,” Davutoglu said. It was led by the Justice and Development Party led by Erdogan. We have never agreed to this. “Syria has turned into a bloodbath,” he said, adding that it was necessary to solve the problem of the 30 million Syrian refugees in Turkey.

Earlier it was reported that the Prime Minister of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, will visit Turkey, where he will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The visit comes against the backdrop of the Turkish military operation against the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, which has been designated a terrorist organization in Turkey and the European Union.

In addition, the Kurdish factor plays an important role in Turkey’s participation in the civil war in Syria. In particular, the Turkish army has repeatedly announced attacks from the Kurds in northern Syria.
