Four soldiers were killed and three others wounded in Israeli air strikes on the outskirts of Damascus.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense said that “the Israeli aggression on the vicinity of the city of Damascus led last night to the death of four soldiers, wounding of three others, and causing material damage.”
Earlier, the Syrian state agency SANA reported that the republic’s air defense systems were repelling an Israeli attack on Damascus. The Xinhua News Agency reported two explosions in the capital.
Earlier, it was reported that the Israeli Air Force attacked the outskirts of Damascus on the night of April 15, hitting Iranian air defense facilities and radars. According to Al-Hadath channel, the military equipment that delivered a batch of Iranian drones to the Hezbollah base, which is fighting on the side of the Syrian army, was also hit.
