Actress Salma Hayek and her teenage daughter Valentina starred together for the first time on the cover of Vogue.
55-year-old Salma Hayek and 14-year-old Valentina shared the cover of the May issue of Vogue Mexico. In the photo, mother and daughter tilt their heads to each other, looking at the camera.
In the interview, Hayek shared her experience with late motherhood. The actress admitted that she did not regret that she gave birth at the age of 41. According to her, at that time she felt self-sufficient enough to become a mother and take responsibility for the child.
In addition, she indicated that she wanted to leave her acting career after giving birth in order to devote herself entirely to raising her daughter, but her husband, businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, dissuaded her from this idea.
Hayek also admitted that her heiress stole her things. “We fight over clothes because she takes everything from my wardrobe,” she said. The actress added that even when she was very young, her daughter did not allow her to choose clothes and tried to dress on her own.
According to Hayek, she does not prevent her daughter from wearing makeup. Furthermore, Valentina teaches her mother to draw.
