The unknown benefits of breastfeeding

Breastfeeding not only improves a baby’s immune system. There are other benefits to raising a child.

According to experts, breastfeeding improves blood circulation in the child’s brain.

“Increased muscle activity stimulates the growth of the bones to which the muscles are attached. Thus, sucking improves the growth of the bones and soft tissues of the face and prevents malocclusion.

Breastfeeding also affects the shape of the baby’s hard palate.

Specialists note that when feeding from a bottle, the baby’s muscles will not actively work, since the nipple allows an easier flow of milk. In this case, the growth of the facial bones in children is slower.
