According to the BBC, the athlete is accused of hiding 3 million euros in assets and loans to avoid paying debts. The former tennis player was declared bankrupt five years ago. Then he could not repay a loan to buy a house in Spain.

Earlier it was alleged that Becker hid 1.13 million euros from the sale of the car dealership. The investigation claims that he did not declare ownership in Germany, a stake in an apartment in Chelsea, and that he hid a loan of 825,000 euros.

Boris Becker – Six-time Grand Slam winner, two-time Davis Cup winner, 1992 Olympic champion in doubles. In 2003, he was elected to the International Tennis Hall of Fame. In addition, Becker has four times won the German Athlete of the Year award.
