Oksana Samoilova plans to travel to space as a tourist
Oksana Samoilova, the businesswoman and wife of rapper Djigan, said on social media that she plans to travel to space as a tourist.
“Once the reservation opens, I will fly into space in the first batch of tourists, and I’m not kidding. This is my biggest dream,” Samoilova said.
Orbital Assembly of North America will build two orbital stations designed for tourists.
Named Pioneer, the first project will be designed for 28 guests and is scheduled to be completed by 2025.
In the second – Voyager – a hotel with a capacity of 400 guests will be opened. Construction of the station will begin within three years, and launch is scheduled for 2027.
According to the plan, the hotel looks like a hoop that rotates to create an artificial attraction. The project cost and figures are not yet known.
