A source, Entertainment Tonight, reported that Smith is going to a psychiatrist following the scandal.
Smith’s official representatives have not yet commented on this information.
On March 27, 2022, during the Academy Awards, Smith took to the stage and slapped host Chris Rock over the comedian’s joke about the “too short hair” of actor wife Jada Pinkett Smith. She suffers from an autoimmune disease that causes her hair to fall out.
Smith later apologized to the host, explaining his behavior as protecting the family.
