Biden announces 1 million deaths in the United States

US President Joseph Biden addressed the nation in a statement and said one million citizens have died from COVID-19.

“Today we celebrate a tragic moment: COVID-19 has claimed the lives of a million Americans. A million empty chairs around the dining table. Every single one of them is an irreparable loss.

According to the Johns Hopkins Institute, 998,997 people have died in the United States since the beginning of the pandemic.

Earlier, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) decided to restrict the use of the coronavirus vaccine developed by Johnson & Johnson due to the increased risk of developing blood clotting syndrome.
