Dangers of eating fruit yogurt for breakfast

Dietitian and nutritionist Ekaterina Matiskina said that sweet yogurt contains a large amount of added sugar, which exacerbates hunger and quickly increases blood sugar levels.

Yogurt with fruits is not the best option in terms of health benefits. The first meal of the day should provide the body with the necessary energy, and a sweet drink will only increase blood sugar levels.

“We will get hungry quickly again. The body needs to eat something again. Thus, we provoke an ‘insulin swing’, that is, an explosion and a decrease in the amount of insulin.”

Specialists believe that regular use of such a product provokes the development of insulin resistance and can lead to diabetes.
