US Chief of Staff: The risk of conflict between world powers has increased

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milley, said that the risk of a serious conflict between the great powers had increased.

“We are now facing two world powers – the Russian Federation and China. Each of these countries has significant military capabilities and is determined to change the existing rules-based order,” said Milley.

According to him, nations are entering an increasingly unstable world. A serious international conflict is likely to erupt between the great powers. And this potential is only growing, not decreasing.
