European Parliament proposes sanctions against the United States

Croatian MP Mislav Kulakosic said that imposing sanctions against Russia will not help resolve the situation in Ukraine and if its goal is to prevent conflicts, the European Parliament should also impose sanctions on the United States, which is involved in most of the military conflicts.

He stressed that if European politicians “really fought for peace, they should immediately impose similar sanctions on Saudi Arabia, which has been fueling the war in Yemen for several years, as well as banning the import of oil and gas from the United States, which has been involved in more military conflicts than any other country.” Others in Europe or even the world in recent decades.

According to MEP, the sanctions against Russia are an “incredible lie” and “hypocrisy”. First and foremost, Kolakosic noted, European citizens suffer from these restrictions.
