An electrician constantly cuts the electricity to the village in order to secretly meet a girl.

For several weeks, villagers in India complained that they were cut off from electricity almost every day after sunset. The electric company that serves the area has not reported any outages, which only fueled people’s questions.

Victims began to suspect that someone was deliberately arranging acts of sabotage.

One day, when the light went out again, the locals organized a patrol. Roaming the streets, they come to the schoolyard, where they find two lovers trying to hide their relationship.

It turned out that it was the man, being an electrician, who turned off the electricity so that he and his beloved would not be seen by anyone.

According to media reports, the electrician was beaten by villagers. However, the elders, after deliberating, allowed the spouses to marry. The electric marriage reportedly saved him from legal troubles as no charges were brought against him.
