World wheat reserves are enough for 18 weeks only…
Wheat stocks in the world will last from the end of the agricultural year 2022-2023 (July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023) for only 18 weeks.
According to forecasts by Sovcon, which studies agricultural issues, projected global wheat stocks at the end of 2022-2023 should cover approximately 18 weeks of global consumption.
Analysts note, that this is well above the record 11-week low in 2007-2008.
