NATO’s Ramstein Legacy 2022 exercise kicks off in the Baltic Sea

The General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces has announced that NATO exercises Ramstein Legacy 2022 (RALY 22) will begin in the airspace of the Baltic Sea.

The NATO missile defense forces will participate in the exercises.

The Polish General Staff also indicated that this will be the first comprehensive training of the NATO Air Missile Defense Forces with real flights.

The event will take place from May 30 to June 12 in the Baltic Sea.

Military personnel from France, Germany, Norway, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Britain, Italy, Belgium, Romania, Turkey and Spain will participate in the exercises.

During the RALY 22 exercise, it is planned to demonstrate “the current situation and combat capability of the NATO Air Defense Forces”.

In early May, a whole series of NATO military exercises took place near the Kaliningrad region.

Maneuvers were carried out on the territory of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and other countries.
