Constance Wu attempts suicide after being bullied

Actress Constance Wu (“Strippers” and “Crazy Rich Asians”) has admitted that she attempted suicide after being bullied on social media.

“I was afraid to go back to social media because I almost committed suicide: 3 years ago, when I published a post about resuming my participation in a TV show, it caused a backlash,” Wu said. The artist added that she was bullied for being an Asian American.

As the star explained, a friend saved her from suicide. “A friend found me and took me to the emergency room.

“In the past few years, I’ve put my career on hold to focus on mental health,” she said.

Wu says she feels much better now. The artist is undergoing a course of psychotherapy and gradually returns to social networks.
