Record high temperature in Britain, with more rise expected

The UK set an all-time high temperature record, with temperatures reaching 102.4 degrees Fahrenheit (39.1 degrees Celsius), and the heat is expected to intensify.

The number was recorded in the village of Charleswood, Surrey, southeast England. The previous high, in 2019, was 101.7 degrees Fahrenheit (38.7 degrees Celsius) at Cambridge Botanic Gardens.

Meteorologists warn of another increase in temperatures.

According to British Sky News, more than 98.8% of the planet will be hotter in the UK. Meteorologists expect the British to be 41 degrees Celsius, and according to American meteorologists, the weather will be hotter than in the UK only in California, the Sahara, France, Belgium, India, western China and the Middle East.

A new overnight record was also set in several parts of the country, with temperatures reaching 25.8°C (78.4°F).
