Honda reveals the 2023 Civic Type R hatchback
The Japanese company Honda has released a new generation of the hatchback Civic Type R 2023.
It is noticeable that the new Civic Type R has become lower and wider than the previous model. The body has become lighter and more rigid through the use of new materials. The car received a more aggressive bumper, a large air intake, a spoiler on the tailgate and a diffuser.
The interior is equipped with sports seats with integrated headrests and slots for multi-point belts, a leather steering wheel, as well as a large display for the multimedia system.
The main goals of the engineers were speed and handling of the car, so the Civic Type R, for example, received powerful Brembo brakes and 19-inch wheels. The company confirmed that the hatchback will be equipped with the same engine as the previous generation of the model, but the power unit will be significantly improved.
The new Honda Civic Type R will go on sale next year, with first deliveries to customers in Europe to begin in early 2023.
