Putin orders the government to put in place additional measures to increase the birth rate
Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government, together with the State Council Committee, to draw up a set of additional measures aimed at increasing the birth rate and supporting families with children.
This comes from the list of instructions issued by the head of state following the results of the 25th International Economic Forum in Saint Petersburg, published on the Kremlin’s website.
In this regard, it is necessary to take measures in the field of health care, education, housing, raising the level of family income and in other areas that affect its interests.
The application due date is September 15th. A set of actions will be presented at a meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, the chief specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for Reproductive Health, Oleg Apulekin, mentioned the need to form a desire among Russians to have children.
