Explosion rocks Wazir Akbar Khan neighborhood in Kabul

An explosion occurred in the Wazir Akbar Khan district of the capital, Kabul.

According to news agencies, the fact of the explosion was confirmed by a representative of the Ministry of the Interior. No details were given about the nature of the explosion and the presence of the victims. Eyewitnesses speculated that the explosion was caused by a missile attack.

It is reported that the explosion occurred in the capital district.

It was reported earlier that a group of militants launched an armed attack on a Sikh temple in Karti Parwan district in western Kabul. As a result, two people died.

On April 30, a woman was killed in a minibus bombing in Kabul. The terrorist group “Islamic State” claimed responsibility for the explosion. On April 29, a bomb explosion in the Medina mosque killed more than 50 people.
