Chinese court orders woman to pay her lover’s wife $560,000
A court in China has ordered a woman to pay $560,000 to her lover’s wife.
According to local media, the wife, deceiving her husband, sued his mistress, claiming that she destroyed their marriage and received expensive gifts that she was not entitled to. The wife found out about her husband’s love story by chance when she noticed that he regularly sends money to an unfamiliar number.
In addition, the husband admitted that he had a 10-year-old son from his lover, bought two apartments and a car, the woman claims that she did not know that her lover had another family, and that all the money she earned went to alimony.
However, in China there is a law according to which one of the married parties is forbidden to spend the joint property without the consent of the other, so the court ordered the Chinese woman to pay part of the money spent.
