In addition, the Armenian forces tried to capture the Kyrgyz heights and establish combat positions there. As a result of the response operation, the Azerbaijani armed forces took control of the Kyrgyz highlands and some other dominant highlands along the Karabakh mountain range, the ministry said.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense also reported that during the operation some combat positions of “illegal Armenian formations” were destroyed.

In addition, an air raid was carried out on a military unit in the village of Yakhari Oratag of the former Ighdere district, which resulted in “human casualties, several D-30 howitzers, in addition to several units of military transport equipment and a large amount of ammunition was removed.” Armenian fighters.

On August 3, it became known that as a result of the aggravation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, two Armenian soldiers were killed. In addition, 14 soldiers were wounded of varying severity.
