More than 40 people were killed in a fire that broke out in the historic Abu Sefein Church in Egypt, and rescue services rushed to the scene.
And the media said: “The Coptic Church in Egypt claims, citing health authorities, that at least 41 people died due to a fire in a church in Cairo.”
The Ministry of Health sent more than 30 ambulances to the scene to evacuate the victims. Several children, who come to classes at the church’s Sunday School, have also been hospitalized.
According to the latest information, the fire in the church has been put out. The cause of the fire is currently unknown and the exact number of casualties has not been mentioned.
