Brad Stevens, president of basketball operations for Boston Celtics, says the organization has a duty to care for women in their building after the Ime Udoka saga amid a wave of “rampant bulls***.”

Udoka, the head coach of the Celtics, was banned for the entire 2022-2023 season for violating team policy.

Udoka allegedly had an affair with a female member of staff within the Celtics organization.

Speaking at his press conference, Stevens said Udoka will face a “very significant financial penalty” in addition to his enforced sabbatical.

“We have a lot of talented women in our organization and I thought yesterday was very difficult for them,” Stevens said of the rumors and innuendo surrounding Udoka and possible parties involved.

“Nobody can control Twitter speculation and rampant bullshit, but I do think we have a responsibility to make sure we’re there to support them.”
