The accusations of blasphemy also come from a subtlety of the Italian language: “chips” is called “patatina” in Italian, a word which also designates, in colloquial language, the vagina. This is not the first time that the brand has played on this double meaning, since it had called on the Italian pornographic actor Rocco Siffredi for a previous campaign.
