The Egyptian ambassador in Conakry presents his credentials to the President of the Republic of Guinea

   The President of Guinea, Lieutenant General Mamadi Doumbouya, received the credentials of Ambassador Hassan Salah El Nashar as Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Government of the Republic of Guinea.

 

Following the reception ceremony, a bilateral meeting was held between the President of Guinea and the Egyptian Ambassador. This was in the presence of the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, the Director of the President’s Office, and the Guinean Minister of Foreign Affairs, where they discussed the overall historical bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them towards new horizons, including existing areas of cooperation and ways to develop them.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated – today, Sunday. – The Guinean President began the meeting by requesting to convey his greetings to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, expressing his appreciation for the various aspects of Egyptian support for Guinea, especially the training programs provided by the Egyptian Agency for Partnership for Development, which contribute significantly to raising the efficiency of Guinean cadres in various fields.

For his part, the Egyptian ambassador conveyed President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s greetings to the Guinean president. He also stressed the depth and strength of the historical and political relations between the two countries, expressing his aspiration to work to improve them, as well as to advance the pace of economic and trade relations in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two countries, as well as continuing coordination and bringing destinations closer together. The two countries will discuss many regional and international issues of common interest.
