FIFA President Gianni Infantino arrived today, Sunday, in the city of Rabat, to attend the final of the African Futsal Championship.
He was received by Infantino upon his arrival at Rabat airport. International, President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Faouzi Lakjaa, and President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe.
Infantino and Motsepe are scheduled to attend together the final match of the tournament, which will be held this evening between the national teams of Morocco and Angola.
This visit is considered an affirmation of FIFA’s commitment to supporting and developing futsal in Africa, as Infantino is expected to meet with officials of football federations in Africa to discuss the future of the game.
