The President of the Austrian National Council excluded the "Parliament" Wolfgang Sobotka, the formation of any future government from the ruling People’s Party and the right-wing Freedom Party, which is loyal to Russia.
Sobotka said – in a statement Today, Saturday – the ruling People’s Party – one of its leaders – has long insisted on not forming a coalition with the Freedom Party, under the leadership of the party’s leader, Herbert Kickl, adding, “The Austrian Freedom Party has evolved into a one-person party,” explaining that Parliament will consider – Regarding who will be elected president after the upcoming National Council elections.
He continued: It is logical for the Speaker of Parliament to come from a party with a majority, adding that the members of Parliament will certainly not elect Kickel as President of the National Council.
Sobotka assumed that all parties would act responsibly and nominate a person “they expect to be able to fill the position well.”
It is noteworthy that the Austrian parliamentary elections will be held next September, followed by the formation of a new coalition government, which is expected to witness Strong party competition.
