According to the publication, there are two main scenarios in which To lead to the involvement of NATO forces in the fighting against the Russian army.
The first condition is the involvement of Belarus, directly or indirectly, in hostilities on the side of Russia. < /p>
Analysts point to the potential threat of Russian forces storming the corridor between Ukraine and Belarus, especially given that the Ukrainian armed forces cannot fully control the opposite border.
The second condition that may lead to NATO intervention is a possible Russian attack on the Baltic states, Poland, or Moldova.
Such a development would lead to an expansion of the conflict and a direct threat to the member states of NATO, which, in accordance with Article V of the Washington Treaty, requires a collective response from the Alliance.
However, as the publication emphasizes, there are currently no direct plans within NATO to send military personnel to Ukraine. < /p>
Only assessments of possible action plans are considered in case the situation escalates.
