Al-Zohour Club, headed by Counselor Mohamed Al-Demerdash, has contracted with Dr. Ahmed Dabas to occupy the position of head of the handball team at the club’s two branches in Nasr City and the Fifth Settlement.
The contract with Dabas comes with the aim of Developing the club’s game system and raising the level of results in all sectors, after the great development witnessed by handball at Al-Zohour Club during the past years, with many teams winning medals in the regional and republican championships, in addition to the continuation of the women’s and men’s teams in the professional league.

Achieving many local championships at various age levels, reaching the first team with Zamalek Club during the period from 1999 to 2010.
Won the bronze medal in the Super Globe Club World Cup – Qatar 2010 with the first team of Zamalek Club. Winning the 2010 African Cup Winners’ Club Championship title with the first team of Zamalek Club.
Winning the 2010 African Super Cup title with the first team of Zamalek Club. Winning the silver medal in the 2003 World Junior Championship with the national team.
Winning the Kuwaiti Federation Cup in the 2012-2013 season with the Kuwaiti Al-Qadisiyah Club. Obtaining runner-up in the Kuwaiti Premier League in the 2013-2014 season with Al-Qadisiyah Club. He also led many other clubs, such as: Al-Sadd Al-Qatari, Talaea El-Geish, Al-Shams, and Al-Ahli Bank.
