He continued: “I told him, O Omar, to postpone the operation for 10 days, and Ibrahim told him we have a national mission, but he said that the club had reserved the operation for him.”
Hassan continued, asking: “Is this a position coming from a player?” However, we hope that the problem will be solved and the operation will be postponed. This is an injury to the finger of his hand.”
He concluded: “In a very large degree, Mahmoud Trezeguet will be present in the camp and will recover from the injury.”
And the national team is preparing. Egypt is first in an important stage, by playing two matches against Burkina Faso and Guinea Bissau next June in the third and fourth rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
