Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, denied the validity of what is being circulated about selling Egyptian airports, stressing that this talk is completely false, and this is what the Prime Minister confirmed.
He continued during a phone call with the media figure Ahmed Moussa, presenter of the program “On My Responsibility”, broadcast on Sada El-Balad channel, that this talk is stale and illogical, as we work within an international system that imposes our sovereignty over our airports and the current talk is about developing the infrastructure of airports.
Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, confirmed that there are 20 Egyptian airports currently operating, and they need development, and must be managed by specialists, stressing that commercial activities at airports are normal.
