Urgent | Iran is preparing for a major attack on Israel that will take days… and responds to the Americans
The Russian website Avia Pro, which specializes in military affairs, reported that the Zionist entity, Israel, is intensively preparing for a possible attack for several days by Iran, Hezbollah, the Houthis, and the Iraqi resistance, in response to the killing of prominent figures Fouad Shukr and Ismail Haniyeh.
According to the American NBC network, quoting a source in the Zionist entity in occupied Palestine, Israel fears that Iran and the axis of resistance in the region will launch a massive joint missile attack supported by drones.
An anonymous source from the NBC network indicated that the Zionist entity is very afraid of the possibility of an attack for several days aimed at exhausting the occupation army.
The channel’s source said: “They will simply try to exhaust us,” stressing that Iran and the axis of resistance They intend to exert serious pressure on Israel through continuous strikes, but these fears are unfounded in light of the recent statements and actions of Iran and its allies, as Al-Hadath Arabiya channel confirmed, quoting its sources, that Israel is preparing a quick and rapid response to any possible attack.
The Iranian president, who met last night with the Jordanian foreign minister, threatened: “The Zionists committed a major mistake in killing Haniyeh, and it will not pass without a response.
He said that it is a cowardly step, and Iran expects all Islamic and free countries to strongly condemn this crime.”
American efforts – and Iran’s refusal: “Israel’s mistake will not pass without a response.”
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reported: Last night, Iran rejected the strenuous efforts of the United States and its diplomats in the Arab world to soften its response to the assassination of Haniyeh in Tehran, and Iranian leaders have pledged to respond since the assassination.
In talks yesterday, they said, according to sources familiar with the details: “We don’t care if our response causes war.”
Tensions have been rising in the past week, following the dramatic assassinations of Haniyeh in Tehran, and the assassination of Shukr in the heart of the Beirut suburb.
The United States has asked Western and Arab countries to send a message to Iran not to escalate – and warned that any major attack would lead to a counter-reaction, according to the Americans. The assassination of Haniyeh at the Revolutionary Guards’ guesthouse in Tehran, where he had arrived to take part in the swearing-in of the new president, is an embarrassing security failure for Iran.
