Urgent.. US Central Command: 3 Houthi air systems destroyed

The US Central Command said that it had succeeded in the past 24 hours in destroying three Houthi unmanned aerial systems launched from Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen over the Gulf of Aden.

In addition, US Central Command forces succeeded in destroying a Houthi drone in a Houthi-controlled area in Yemen.

Separately, US Central Command forces succeeded in destroying a Houthi unmanned surface vessel, a Houthi unmanned aerial vehicle, and a Houthi anti-ship ballistic missile in the Red Sea.

The Central Command said that these weapons posed a clear and imminent threat to US and coalition forces, and commercial ships in the area.

A Houthi attack on Tel Aviv last Friday exposed a gap in the air defenses of the Israeli occupation army, which seeks to Building a new defense system called “Iron Beam” to confront the danger of air threats.

While the Israeli air defense system was able to detect 65 missiles launched by the Lebanese Hezbollah, intercepting some of them and letting the rest fall in open areas without causing any damage, on the same day, it missed a drone believed to have flown more than 1,000 miles from Yemen, which exploded in Tel Aviv.

According to what was published by the Wall Street Journal, Israel faces a problem with drones, which may be small in size and difficult to detect, and they do not move in predictable paths, and do not emit the intense heat emitted by missile engines, which makes tracking and destroying them easy.

Eilat Port

It appears that the Houthi strikes against Israeli ships in the Red Sea, and even targeting the only occupation port on this sea outlet, have caused significant economic damage to Israel.

According to the World Cargo News website, the Eilat Port has declared bankruptcy due to an 85% decline in activity as a result of Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea, and port officials have asked the government for assistance.

Seatrade Maritime also reported that the Eilat Port is facing the specter of bankruptcy in light of the ongoing attacks by the Houthis.

According to the report, the economic impact of the Houthi strikes on shipping traffic in the Red Sea has become clear with the Eilat Port requesting financial assistance from the Israeli government after shipping volumes decreased by 85%.

The Eilat Port is located on the southern coast of Israel on the Red Sea.
