Egyptian Youth Council: Empowering Youth in the New Republic is an Investment in the Future

Dr. Mohamed Mamdouh, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Youth Council and member of the National Council for Human Rights, stressed the importance of the great and prominent role played by Egyptian youth in building the new republic under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

 

Mamdouh pointed out that the new republic has witnessed a qualitative shift in empowering youth, whether economically, socially or politically, and enhancing their participation in all fields during the past ten years. This came on the occasion of International Youth Day. 

 

The head of the Egyptian Youth Council explained that empowering youth is an investment in the future, and it is a shared responsibility that falls on governments, civil society, and the private sector.

 

Mamdouh added that the future vision of the political leadership led to the adoption of ambitious strategies aimed at empowering youth and involving them in the development process. Through various initiatives and projects, the capabilities of youth have been enhanced in various fields, starting from education and vocational training, all the way to entrepreneurship and effective participation in decision-making.

 

He pointed out that the projects and initiatives launched by the government constitute an important platform for young people to innovate new ideas and contribute effectively to achieving national goals, expressing his pride in the role of Egyptian youth in the new republic, expressing his aspiration for their continued progress and brilliance under the leadership of President Sisi.

 

It is worth noting that International Youth Day is an annual event celebrated by the United Nations on August 12 of each year, and aims to highlight the role of youth in society, their challenges and achievements.
