Giza Governor orders withdrawal of licenses of drivers who do not comply with the specified tariff

 Giza Governor Eng. Adel El-Naggar conducted a field tour to follow up on the regularity of operation of a number of civilized service stations in the Saff Center and City, as part of his follow-up on a series of developed service stations established to serve the movement of citizens to tighten control over the service system, whether at the governorate level in general or in the Saff Center and City sector in particular.

The governor’s tour included passing by the civilized service station in the village of Al-Akhsas, which serves the lines of Helwan, Al-Akhsas, Minya and neighboring villages.

 

The governor also inspected the service station of the eastern Shobak village, which serves the lines of Saff, Shobak, Helwan and New Beni Suef.

 

The governor followed up on the implementation and construction rates of the city service station (Ard Al-Ahraz) in Ezbet Abu Awad, where he directed the speedy completion of the work to put it into service as soon as possible and to benefit citizens from it.

 

The governor indicated that the stations operate around the clock and serve A number of lines inside and outside the center and city of Saf to facilitate the movement of citizens.

 

He stressed the head of the service and mass transportation authority to follow up on the regularity of work inside the stations and operate them with discipline and ensure that drivers adhere to the specified tariffs for the routes, while taking the necessary measures against violators and taking into account periodic maintenance to maintain its efficiency.

 

During his tour, the governor was keen to listen to the opinions of citizens and learn from them the extent of drivers’ commitment to the specified tariffs for the routes.. Assuring them that any violations by drivers in the tariffs for the routes will be dealt with firmly.

 

Al-Najjar stressed the head of the service authority to follow up closely, saying, “Withdraw the route license from any driver who does not adhere to the fare.” To preserve the livelihood of citizens. 

 

The governor was accompanied during his tour by Ibrahim Al-Shahabi, Deputy Governor, Mohamed Nour, Assistant Secretary, Ali Abdullah Hamed, Head of Al-Saff Center, Mahmoud Hussein, Head of the Service Authority, a number of members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Head of the Inspection Authority, the Undersecretary of the Health Directorate, and representatives of the drinking water, sanitation, and electricity utility companies.
