Al-Burhan: The path to peace and stopping the war in Sudan is achieved by implementing what was agreed upon in the Jeddah Forum
The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, said that the path to peace and ending the war is clear, which is implementing what was agreed upon in the Jeddah Forum in May 2023.
Al-Burhan added in a speech on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Sudanese army: This anniversary comes while your armed forces and our countrymen continue to make great sacrifices without harm or injury to preserve together the unity and entity of the Sudanese state.
He continued: We will not compromise or compromise on the legitimate rights of the state to restore security and stability, and we will work relentlessly to remove the last element of the rebel forces from the cities and villages they have desecrated.
