The channels affiliated with the United Media Services Company provided distinguished coverage of all the events of the second edition of the “El Alamein” Festival through its various programs, with a huge network of its correspondents and broadcasters to transmit everything that happens on the ground moment by moment, alongside its broadcasters in the studio.
“United” did not forget, during the festival, to support the Palestinian cause by placing the Palestinian flag next to the Egyptian flag, and announcing the allocation of 60% of the festival’s profits to the Palestinian people.
The “media coverage” included evenings under the title “The Stars’ Border,” presented by a number of senior media professionals on the screens of CBC, DMC, ON E, and Al-Hayat channels, where they hosted a group of famous artists, singers, and public figures, in addition to a number of festival officials and participants.
Media professional Reham El-Sahli presented many evenings within the “The Stars’ Border” program. The “Al-Mahrajan” program on DMC channel hosted the Masar Egbari band, singers Shaza and Zeinab Hassan, artist Hassan El Raddad, and media figure Omaima Shukry, head of Nile Radio, while media figure Jasmine Taha Zaki participated in several evenings on the same channel, during which she met artist Sawsan Badr, and media figure Suham Saleh hosted Captain Sherif Abdel Moneim.
As for Mona Abdel Ghani, she presented several evenings on CBC, attended by many artists including Mai Kassab and Tarek Sabry, while media figure Lobna Asal presented the evening on Al-Hayat channel, and media figure Sherine Abu Al-Hassan on ON E, while captains Mohamed Fadl and Hazem Emam covered the sports segments and conducted interviews with football celebrities.
Media figure Karim Kojak also participated in the coverage of the United Channels through the “From El Alamein” program. On ON E channel, and the media figure Mona El Maraghy through the program “Al Hayat Alamein” on Al Hayat channel, during which she hosted the singer Samia and others, while the program “Sahra Khasah” was presented by Heba El Abassiry and Maha Bahnassi on CBC channel, during which she met the artist Mohamed Osama, known as “Ous Ous”, and the popular singer Mahmoud El Leithy, in addition to the program “Sabah El Alamein” presented by Lama Gabriel and Ibrahim Abdel Gawad, the festival’s spokespeople on Al Hayat channel, and the Nile Radio Network. As for the programs that were presented from the studio, they included the program “Al-Mahrajan” presented by Aya Gamal El Din with the participation of other presenters on DMC from inside and outside the studio as well, and the program “Al-Youm” On DMC, which monitored the most important news of the festival, and the program “El Setat Ma’arefoosh Yekdebo” presented by Mona Abdel Ghani on CBC, which presented many episodes about the festival, in addition to its correspondents present there, and “El Safira Aziza” presented by the media Sanaa Mansour and Sally Shaheen on DMC.
The broadcaster Khaled Alish presented the program “Ma Ba’tesh Kahyan Fi El Alamein”, directed by Ahmed Assaf, and shown on Al Hayat and CBC channels, and during it he monitored the events and activities of the festival in a comedic way, and conveyed a live and interactive experience with the audience and reactions to the artistic, sports and cultural activities.
The religious segments also included episodes of the program “La’allahum Yafqahoon” Presented by Sheikh Ramadan Abdel Moez, which was shown on DMC from El Alamein Festival, and during which he talked about relaxation and that it is an act of worship.
The artistic activities, which were broadcast on United Channels, especially CBC and DMC, included a concert by singers Majida El Roumi and Kazem El Saher, in addition to the youth singing bands “Raina Ray”. The twins Hadeer and Ghadeer and other underground music presenters, in addition to the concert of the band Masar Egbari and Hamza Namira and others.
The United Channels provided, through their correspondents, coverage and monitoring of events from the heart of the event, such as sports events, most notably the draw for the handball clubs championship, beach ball events, the padel championship, car racing, bicycle marathon, and the Arab Judo Championship, some of whose champions were hosted through the various channels.
While Egyptian TV showed various segments on the first channel, through the media figure Sally Abdel Salam, on the program “Had El Nogoom”, and hosted the artist Noha Abdeen, the singer Mohamed Adaweya and others, while “the radio”, the Nile Radio Network launched the “Interactive Studio” In the New Alamein Beaches area under the slogan “Radio Nile in El Alamein”, the broadcaster Mai Anwar hosted Ibrahim Abdel Gawad during the program, and the broadcaster Hossam Reda met with the broadcaster Lama Gabriel on the Radio Nile network, and among the radio guests was Muhannad Jaber, one of the most prominent participants in the Arab Judo Championship.
On the sidelines of the festival, the United Company launched a channel dedicated to showing the events of the El Alamein Festival in its second session, which is the “U LIVE” channel, which provided live coverage around the clock for all the various events in the festival, including artistic, sports and cultural activities, in addition to its keenness to shed light on the various tourist areas in El Alamein through a live broadcast from several areas in it.
The largest “festival” in the Middle East also witnessed the food festival, which included Bites by the sea, an event that included live cooking shows and tasting a variety of dishes throughout the day, and included a number of the best chefs in Egypt to present local and international dishes.
