A lot has changed in a week since these two clubs last played a league game.

Arsenal have added three players to their squad, Mikel Merino, Neto, and Raheem Sterling.

However, none of them will be available to play today.

Merino suffered what is perceived as a serious injury in just his first training session in north London. Horrid luck.

Meanwhile, the other two were not registered in time to be able to get a place in the squad. I’m sure they will watch, though.

For Brighton, Matt O’Riley signed from Celtic, but just like Merino, has already picked up an injury.

It came about in just his first minutes in blue and white, as he was forced off 10 minutes into Brighton’s 4-0 win over Crawley in the Carabao Cup second round.

So basically, don’t expect to see any shiny new signings today.
