Minister of Local Development and Governor of Qalyubia inspect the Technology Center at the General Diwan
Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, and Engineer Ayman Attia, Governor of Qalyubia, inspected the Technology Center at the General Diwan of the Governorate to follow up on the progress of work there, and receive requests from citizens wishing to reconcile building violations in accordance with the new Law No. 187 of 2023 and the implementation of its executive regulations.
During the conversation with the specialists at the center, Dr. Manal Awad inquired about the services and facilities provided to citizens regarding reconciliation requests, and removing any obstacles facing them to complete the procedures related to reconciliation in building violations.
During the Minister of Local Development’s inspection of the center, she learned about the executive position of the number of reconciliation requests at the governorate level, regarding data certificates, the total number of submitted requests that were inspected, the inspections recorded on the system, and the responses of the concerned authorities On it.
Dr. Manal Awad called on citizens to invest in this opportunity provided by the state and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to complete reconciliation procedures for various building violations and legalize their status to preserve their real estate wealth.
The Minister of Local Development directed local leaders in the governorate to cooperate with citizens by explaining the documents and conditions stipulated in the executive regulations of the new reconciliation law, which must be available for reconciliation and legalization of status in building violations.
The Minister of Local Development stressed the importance of the role of technology centers in the governorates in raising the level of services provided to citizens in all governorates and ensuring the quality and speed of these services in a way that achieves their satisfaction with them, noting that the digital transformation project implemented by the government receives great attention from His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Sisi, for its priority in the plans and strategies of the Egyptian state, especially after the official move to the New Administrative Capital, for its vital role in the economic development process and providing services to citizens in an easy and simple manner, while raising the efficiency of workers and upgrading human cadres.
For his part, the Governor of Qalyubia indicated that the technology center in the General Diwan has been developed and upgraded and linked to local units through a single network to provide all services to citizens in all sectors, in an experiment that is the first of its kind in the republic, within the digital transformation plan of the Egyptian government, which relies on information technology, simplifying procedures and reducing the time of providing services to citizens.
The Governor stressed that the technology center contributes greatly to reducing paper transactions and saving time and effort for citizens, noting that the governorate seeks to expand the scope of electronic services Introduction.
This came in the presence of Dr. Iman Ryan, Deputy Governor, Major General Ihab Hassan Siraj El-Din, Secretary General, Major General Abdullah Ashour, Assistant Secretary General, Dr. Mohamed Fawzy, Assistant Governor for Projects and Investment, and a number of governorate leaders and members of the House of Representatives and Senate in Qalyubia.
