The Customs Media Complex, in cooperation with the Customs Education Department, organized a symposium entitled (The Egyptian Man, Challenges and Confrontation Mechanisms), in the presence of Dr. Moataz El-Shennawy, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Al-Gomhoria, Dr. Rouhia Abu Ghaly, Director General of the Customs Education Department, Amani Sereh, Director of the Customs Media Complex, and Dr. Hoda El-Saati, Member of the Journalists Syndicate Council in Alexandria, with the participation of many teachers and students of the Customs Education Department.
Amani Sereh opened the symposium by welcoming the teachers, male and female, and students participating in the symposium, stressing that challenges and confrontation mechanisms are among the most important topics that we must all learn and teach to all generations in order to preserve our beloved country, Egypt.
Dr. Moataz El-Shennawy opened the symposium by observing a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs of this country, and the opening chapter of the book was recited by the martyr Captain Ahmed Khaled.
El-Shennawy stressed that the right of blood does not expire with the passage of time, and one of the biggest challenges is preserving the human element The Egyptian person himself, from all the crises that are plotted against the homeland and the citizen, with the intention of destroying the homeland, stressing that Egypt has the best soldiers on earth, and its people are united until the Day of Judgment.
Al-Shennawy reviewed all the attempts of the enemies of the homeland to seize the land, starting with King ‘Seqenenre’ as the first martyr during the Egyptians’ confrontation with the Hyksos occupation, and what that represents as an indication of the bravery of the Egyptians in defending the land and the homeland, and even the epic victory on October 6, 1973, in which we achieved victory and pride, passing through the aggression of 1956 and 1967 and some challenges in recent years such as social media and its role in spreading rumors.
He also reviewed the last words of the martyr Raed Ahmed Bahjat Manaa, in his will to his mother: “How easy it was, my mother, I did not feel it.. I did not suffer. He concluded his will to his countrymen, saying: “Let God be my witness that I have not failed to perform my duty. Do not fail to defend our country, for there are those who will not fail to destroy our country.”
At the end of the symposium, Dr. Rawhia Abu Ghaly reviewed some of the efforts of the Customs Education Department during the past period, especially with children with disabilities.
The Director General of Customs honored both Dr. Moataz Al-Shennawy and Ms. Amani Sarih for their role in supporting the educational process.
