Counselor Hussein Abu Al-Atta, head of the "Egyptians" Party, member of the Executive Office of the Egyptian Parties Alliance, praised Egypt’s ranking first among the ten African countries with the greatest soft power influence worldwide this year, according to the Global Soft Power Index issued by the global consulting firm Brand Finance, which reflects its prominent position, as well as its positive influence and good reputation in countries.

"Abu Al-Atta" said in a statement today, Sunday, that Egypt’s ranking first among the ten African countries with the greatest soft power influence worldwide did not come out of nowhere, as Egyptian-African relations witnessed great and unprecedented momentum during the era of President Sisi over the past ten years, and what strengthened those relations was the existence of a political will at the highest levels aimed at advancing relations with the countries of the continent in all fields, especially the Nile Basin group of countries, in a way that achieves its interest, supports it and defends its issues on the bilateral and multilateral tracks, stressing Egypt’s pride in its established African identity in Her conscience.

The head of the "Egyptians" party added that this index was directly based on a poll of the opinions of all 193 UN member states regarding the classifications of countries and the extent to which they meet the required standards to be included on the list, noting that this matter is added to the record of successes of honorable Egyptian diplomacy.

He explained that President Sisi is keen to build Egyptian relations – A very strong, solid and deep Africa, through openness to the African continent, its problems and the challenges it faces, until African concerns became present in all international forums in which Egypt participates, after years of attempts to distance Egypt from its African surroundings.

He pointed out that the Egyptian political leadership represented by President Sisi is keen in a strong and serious way to cooperate with the countries of the African continent in many fields, whether business, trade, investment, education, culture, media and communications, and after 10 years of President Sisi’s rule, the Egyptian state was able to maximize and consolidate its pioneering role in the African continent and achieve a major leap in relations with the countries of the African continent, after reforming the compass of Egyptian-African relations and directing them towards the future, believing in the importance of joint African action, and that peace is the basic pillar of development on the continent.
