A dispatcher urged Rachel to stay on the line, adding: ‘Do you have any kind of clean cloth there that you can apply pressure to it? Is there anybody there with you?’
The teenager replied that she was alone and the gunman had left.
‘Are you close to any kind of cloth or a shirt or a towel that you can use?’ the dispatcher asks, to which the teen replied ‘no’.
‘There’s nothing near you? Rachel, I need you to talk to me, OK?’ the dispatcher said.
‘I can’t,’ the teenager said, before succumbing to her injuries.
Police and fire responders can be heard scrambling to locate Rachel’s address, before they arrived around four-and-a-half minutes later.

Rachel’s family said she was an animal lover and a keen horseback rider
Silent Witness is also offering a reward of up to $7,000 to anyone with information about the killing.
The teenager’s father, Todd Hansen also said he had distributed 500 flyers about his daughter’s murder in the hope someone with information would come forward.
‘Somehow, Someone, Somewhere knows Something regarding the of my sweet daughter Rachel Hansen,’ he wrote on Facebook August 25.
‘Maybe some closure with how or why she died might help us,’ he added in a recent interview with KNXV.
‘A 19-year-old girl gets murdered in the town of Gilbert was unheard of.’
‘It’s just as if it just happened as if it was yesterday,’ Rachel’s mother, Kim Hansen, added.
‘Really it’s kind of unbelievable because I feel like two years have gone by and we should have something, and we have nothing.’
