On behalf of the President of the Republic, Madbouly participates in the forum "focaccia" In Beijing
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly left Cairo International Airport on Monday evening, heading to the Chinese capital “Beijing”, to participate on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in the China-Africa Cooperation Forum “FOCAC”.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to attend the opening session of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, as well as a number of high-level sessions, where Dr. Mostafa Madbouly will deliver an important speech during a session entitled “Industrial Transformation, Agricultural Modernization and Green Development”.
On the sidelines of the forum, the Prime Minister will hold an important series of meetings with a number of Chinese and African officials, in addition to a number of interviews with officials of the most prominent Chinese companies, including prominent Chinese companies operating in the Egyptian market.
It is also planned that the Prime Minister will witness, on the sidelines of his participation in the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, Signing a set of agreements, memoranda of understanding and contracts related to new or existing investments in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, as well as a number of important agreements in the communications and information technology sector.
The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) is scheduled to be held from September 4 to 6 with broad participation from heads of state and government.
The forum focuses on ways to enhance China-Africa cooperation within the framework of the initiatives adopted by Beijing in this regard, and in line with the goals of the African Development Agenda 2063.
