Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, issued a decision to appoint Dr. Nashwa Gaber as Deputy CEO of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization for Archaeological Affairs for a period of one year, succeeding Dr. Maysara Abdullah.
This decision came within the framework of keenness to employ distinguished and experienced competencies and cadres from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and appoint them to leadership positions, in an effort to raise the level of work and achievement in the ministry to its highest and best levels.
It is worth noting that Dr. Nashwa Gaber holds a PhD in Egyptian Antiquities from the University of Warsaw in Poland, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the French University of Eselska, and a fellowship from the Nasser Academy for Higher Strategic Sciences. She also held various positions in the Supreme Council of Antiquities, where she worked as a member of the Technical Office, then Director of the Office of Dr. Zahi Hawass, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, then Supervisor of the Archaeological Documentation and Archaeological Data Verification Unit and Supervisor of the International Relations Department at the Grand Egyptian Museum, then Supervisor of the Permanent Committees And Mission Affairs at the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Board of Directors of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Dr. Nashwa Gaber has contributed to many projects and works that played an important role in the progress of work in the Antiquities Sector at the Ministry, through participation in many committees and tasks related to Egyptian antiquities, and working as a member of the Permanent Committee for Egyptian Antiquities, the Scientific Committee for Selecting Artifacts at the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the Committee for Evaluating Egyptian and Foreign Missions.
